Handprints on the walls

Students wipe their wet hands on the walls in the restrooms because the hand driers don´t usually work so they have nothing to wipe with. What can we do about it?

The problem is that the walls in the restrooms are dirty and there are handprints on them. The walls are dirtier and dirtier and soon, the school will have to paint them again. It will cost money which could be used to buy new textbooks, computers or other equipment for school.

The school can put paper towels to the restrooms. This way students will wipe their hands on the towels and not on the walls. The paper towels would cost some money but I suppose that they are much cheaper than painting the whole walls. Or we can ask the students to bring their own tissues to school but I am not sure if they will listen to us.

To conclude, the handprints on the walls is a problem which can be solved but we have to pay attention to it.

Rubbish in our school

Our school has a problem with rubbish. Pupils throw wrappers everywhere. Bubble gums are attached under the desks, on the ground and under the shelves. Many chairs are damaged and toilets are dirty.

The problem with rubbish is that it is disgusting. When you touch place under the desk or chair, you feel sticky bubble gums. Sometimes when you are sitting, some sticky thing can attached your jeans. You worry every moment you have to touch desks or chairs. Another problem with dirt is that many pupils stopped going to the toilets because of dirty toilets. Also litter in classes is not pleasant.

There are some solutions to these problems. We can ask the head of the school to put more bins in and around school. There could be clean-up days or some students volunteer could pick up litter every day. We can tell pupils to throw bubble gums in bins and explain why it  is important to keep toilets clean. In these ways, we can reduce the amount of rubbish in our school.

To conclude, all pupils can help reduce the amount of rubbish in and around our school and keep school cleaner.

Mess around our school

If you go around our school, you will see a mess. It is unpleasant, so what can we do about it?

I went around our school and I saw four plastic bottles, sweet wrappers and handkerchiefs around a basket and finally, a fallen roof tile. The problem with plastic bottles is that if we don´t recycle  them, they won´t disintegrate. Also, it is very unpleasant for people. Secondly, the problem with sweet wrappers and handkerchiefs is that a wind can blow it away and the mess will be everywhere. Also, used handkerchiefs can carry bacterias. Finally, a fallen roof tile is very dangerous because of injury. If someone stands under the school roof, the tile will fall on him.

There are some solutions to these problems. We can try to find people who make this mess. Then, they should tidy it. Also, we can try to prepare clean-up days around our school. For third problem, we should call a roofer who will check the school roof and then say if it needs to change or not.

To conclude, we can do a lot if we have eyes wide open. These problems can just disappear.
